(I haven’t done one of these in a while, so i’m just gonna write whatever comes to my head. Btw, this is a really biased rant, so yeah…)

THIS MAN ^ IS TRYING TO KILL ME!!!
I swear. I can hardly think coherently anymore due to the extensive ovary damage he had caused by simply existing. How can you be so damn good looking?

.
♥ Upcoming drama…
Though I love all five boys dearly, I’ve always been a huge a bit of a Jaejoong stan. I do have my biased moments, so excuse me if my opinions differ from yours.
I personally think that in Jaejoong can really act (shown in his previous works), he is able to break free of the fact that he is the idol Kim Jaejoong and turn into the character he is supposed to play for the drama/movie. Of course it’s not really perfect, but i think what’s good is that while acting, he truly believes that he is the character. And of course his good looks will always effortlessly steal the show.

Critically, I think Jae might have overacted his character a little in “Hard To Say I Love You” and was a bit monotonous with his part in “Heaven’s Postman”. But in both of these previous acting works, he really surprises me with some incredibly well-delivered lines. So overall I’d say, for a rookie actor who may be affected by his idol image, Jaejoong is pretty damn good.

Recently I watched the trailers for Jaejoong’s upcoming “Protect The Boss” drama and any lingering doubts i had about his acting was completely blown away. The reports were right, he took a HUGE step up from his previous works and the effort he’d put into breathing life into his character for this drama really, really shows. From what i’ve seen, i think he plays his part VERY well and i am completely drawn in already.

I think this is a drama that will really be enjoyed and if Jaejoong keeps up this brilliant, improved acting through the entire story line, I will be terribly upset that they did not let him play the main character.

.
♥ Kim Forehead
I think i mentioned in a previous rant that i like Jae best with his more feminine hairstyle that framed his face. Now that i’ve seen the press conference pictures, i think i am going to have to seriously reconsider that opinion. Jaejoong with a Jung Yunho hairstyle and displaying his beautiful forehead is just FUCKING HOT.
Anyone who says they weren’t stunned by Jaejoong’s new ‘do must be lying because it is really stunning and would totally “visual shocks” everyone out of their seats. And i swear he can pull off any outfit like a boss.

.
♥ The Man
All my non-jaejoong-stan friends may think he looks like a woman and i’d admit Jae does have his feminine side, but i think that in many ways he is also really manly.
- He says exactly what he feels without being afraid of criticism or anything else.
- He works hard to achieve what he wants to achieve and does everything to a high standard
- He knows when to be strong and hold in his tears, but he is also not afraid to cry with all his emotion.
- He is a leader with ideas and ambitions and not someone who just does what he is told to do.

.
♥ In conclusion I am obsessed with this man who i’ll probably never meet in this life or the next and who will probably never know i exist.
This man makes my love life non-existent and raises my standards of guys so high that i wonder if i’d ever marry. But i think i will forever revolve my fabulous fantasy around the fabulous Kim Jaejoong.
I don’t think that i would ever actually marry him even if i was granted that chance by some holy miracle because we’re just too different, but i would really really want to be his friend.

(s!b: everything you are about to read is completely opinionated and is not meant to hurt or insult anyone in anyway. The facts stated are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate, so please do not take everything you read here for granted because I may stand corrected)
♣ Right so I didn’t really keep up with this weekly thing (not that anyone cares). In truth i had this long thing typed up about my opinions on TVXQ’s “crazy schedules”, but when i reread it i thought i contradicted myself a lot.

Basically I’m stuck between two points:
A: We all love our boys so much that we tend to forget the fact that what they do is technically work and being an idol is above all their profession and job. Considering the fact that their useful promotion period (i.e. the time when they are at the height of their popularity) is limited, it is almost necessary for their management company to “milk them for all they are worth”.
This means that tough schedules come with the life of being a successful idol. It’s almost inevitable. If we think about it logically, their “crazy schedule” is basically a normal busy person’s schedule condensed into a shorter time frame.
We are all too worried about the fact that such tight schedules will ruin the boys health, to realize that (1) they chose this profession so they must be aware/prepared for it, (2) their hard work pays off - they do not ever have to worry about being unemployed, just showing up at an occasion can earn them money for the rest of their lives.

B: However, it IS the truth that such tight schedules will ruin our boys’ health. We love them for who they are above their profession, therefore we don’t want them to live such hectic lives.
Also, there is high possibility that during the training period, SM had fed them lies about the life of a celebrity in order to get them to sign unbreakable contracts. Meaning, the boys were not fully aware of the consequences of working in this industry, but they were bound to do as they were told by the contract.
Obviously the schedule could not have provided the boys much happiness and, along with other things,it ultimately led to the lawsuit that broke them apart. Then again, Changmin and Yunho are still with SM and I will comment no further as no one really knows the exact reason behind the breakup.
Nevertheless, entertainment companies should still rethink such crazy schedules and treat their idols like human beings before considering them as profit making tools.

♣ Anyway, so that was that. Now then, I’ve also been thinking of something else to rant about:
10 Things I Want TVXQ To Do:
(that is before the lawsuit/when they get back together as five in the near future)

1) Jaejoong Catwalk - I don’t believe he has ever done it before and although this is slightly biased of me, I just want to see what kind of sexy face he’d make while doing it xD
2) Cross Dressing - I have seen vid/pic evidence of Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun cross dressing (not sure about the other two). However, they did it on separate occasions. What I want is all 5 of them to cross dress together xD
3) Guest on Hello Baby - Knowing the boys it would be hilarious and adorable xD. Also, I need some obvious Yunjae action.
4) Couple Fanmeet - Special occasion just for fans to ask questions and request actions from OTP couples =D (i.e. couple talk LIVE)
5) Girl Group Dance - Probably every single boyband in existence has danced to a girl group song of some sort. The only instance I’d seen TVXQ do it is in their Purple Line practice vid where they did a tiny, tiny segment of “Tell Me” and “Girls’ Generation”. I want to see them dance to a whole girl group song.
6) Song Swap - Lots of boybands have danced to each other’s songs, except for TVXQ (as far as i know). I think they did occasionally do segments of Suju’s songs and although no group is really on par with our boys, I still want them to perform a song from another group.
7) Dye Their Hair Pink - Like bright bubblegum pink. I don’t care who, just one of them xD, it would be epic.
8) Card Game - I don’t know the exact name of the game, but it’s the one where the members of a group have to pass a playing card down the line using their mouths only. I request for yunjae to stand next to each other.
9) Guest On Star Golden Bell - I’m not overly familiar with the show, but it seems slightly academically inclined. It would be really interesting to see our boys on it, especially wearing those uniforms xD
10) Comeback - On all the music stations and in Japan as FIVE. Obviously because TVXQ has the best comebacks and I fucking miss them so much, also deprived of OTP action TT^TT

(gifs not mine. i seriously can’t make them T^T)

Fuckyeahtvxqmacros’ Rant 3:
(s!b: everything you are about to read is completely opinionated and is not meant to hurt or insult anyone in anyway. The facts stated are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate, so please do not take everything you read here for granted because I may stand corrected)
♣ So i’m sure most of you would’ve come across this article
http://www.allkpop.com/2011/06/code-v-on-their-struggles-fame-in-japan-korean-comeback-and-surpassing-tvxq
and seriously guys, i can guarantee you i had wanted to pull out a machine gun and shoot their heads in (excuse the violence) when i first read it, but soon afterwards i thought, wow i should seriously take chill pill and think about it.

.
♣ Code V is, as far as i’m concerned, a rookie group (they debuted in 2007 under a different name, but since they left the industry almost immediately, i won’t count them as anything but rookies). And I think these days it is becoming a little bit of a concern that some of these rookie groups are not as polite and as reserved as before.
Rather than calling them rude, I think most of them just have different mindsets to the rookies of the past. Instead of just admiring their sunbaes and hoping that they can be the same, some current rookies want to aim for the very top and surpass the best of the best.
This is an admirable quality and having such confidence can get you places.

Although some of us (including me) would consider this as somewhat rude and arrogant for rookies who most likely can’t even dream of reaching where their sunbaes have, i guess the mindset does sit in with the norm of modern society (i.e. most of us aren’t overly polite these days anyway ==”).
I don’t have anything against their goal, but it might’ve been better for them if they did not voice such bold opinions out loud.

.
♣ As for Cassies. The way the interview was worded did seem quite insulting and officially put Code V in some bad books even though most of us probably don’t even know them. But we have our reasons:
Cassies are protective, the world should know that, so i don’t see why people would risk their reputation by talking about TVXQ in such a context, especially during a messed-up lawsuit.
Also, more importantly, TVXQ is LEGENDARY.

And our boys had put in more hard work than anyone to get to where they are. To see a rookie group seemingly disregard this hard work by stating “we plan to surpass TVXQ” as though it is simplest thing in the world really makes my blood boil.
I am sure they meant it in an admiring way, but of all the things they could’ve have said, “surpass” and “TVXQ” just did not belong in the same sentence.
But then again, we should all consider the authenticity of the article before cementing our opinions about Code V, after all, it can just be a reporter trying to get his/her breakout article and therefore over-exaggerating things.

.
♣ To generalize some rules Code V should’ve stuck to in their interview (my own opinion of course):
.
1) NEVER SAY YOU ARE GOING TO SURPASS A LEGENDARY GROUP OR ANY ARTIST WHO IS YOUR SENIOR.
Thinking it is perfectly fine. Even saying that it would be “a dream to surpass the group after lots of hard work” is still acceptable. But flat out stating it in order to garner attention will probably earn you the wrong kind of attention instead.
Simply admiring never hurts. I mean look at D-NA (The Boss). They look up to TVXQ and one of their members is a total fanboy and we all love them (well the people i know do anyway).
As a junior wanting a place in the industry, being humble is as important as being confident.

.
2) DON’T MAKE DANGEROUS STATEMENTS
Carrying on from the previous rule. Don’t say anything related to other groups in your group’s interview unless absolutely necessary or unless asked to. Also perhaps think of the impacts of the words you say before you say them, sometimes there are things you just can’t compare to.
If you’re really good artists then you shouldn’t need be labelled as a “second” anything and even if you are you don’t need to go bring it up yourselves.
If you’re all as talented as you said you are then gain popularity using your own skills and not by using another group’s name.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT say anything that may irriate any fandom
.
3) NEVER F***ING SAY YOU RESEMBLE JAEJOONG
Ok fine this isn’t a rule and i’m being biased here, but seriously grrrr!! You can’t say that!
First of all, the guy who said it looks NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE JAEJOONG!
I’m by no means saying the members of Code V aren’t good looking, but NONE OF THEM LOOKS ANYTHING LIKE TVXQ.

The only person who (i think) bears any kind of resemblance to Jaejoong is D-NA’s Karam because he is yunjae’s lovechild and even though it is kinda obvious, Karam has never mentioned anything about it = correct.
Come on now Code V, i don’t know you well and i shouldn’t judge you, but that is some serious blasphemy i will not allow >=(
.
♣ I do not doubt Code V’s ability to make a mark in the asia music industry. I do not doubt their talents nor do i doubt the fact that some people think they resemble TVXQ.
However, I highly doubt that Code V will become anything remotely similar to TVXQ. Because people, especially artists, should seek to be unique.
I do not hate Code V nor do i want to put them down. I sincerely wish them good luck with their work, but I also wish that they will never talk about their sunbaes [TVXQ] in such a way ever again. There is absolutely no need to.

.
1) I promise as of the last macro i made that i will put down the controversy surrounding scantily dressed back up dancers and give it a rest…i’ll just accept the reality of things…for now

.
2) There seems to have been a huge shock/debate/argument/discussion of some sort revolving around #yunjaeback trending on twitter and jaejoong’s “angry” tweet.
What happened? o_O i’m so out of it, someone tell me please in the answer box thing below.

.
3) This just my own opinion,
I wouldn’t say that all of Jaejoong’s hairstyles he’s ever had was perfect, but in the majority of the Japanese albums like in Purple Line, Why Did I Fall In Love With You and Bolero etc and of course, Bonjour Paris, the Mirotic Era etc…
Jaejoong had GODLY hair.

.
especially the haircut here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EusCvw7pMwE it is heavenly and i will forever love it.
But nowadays, occasionally Jaejoong would shorten his hair like here:

This style does make Jae look somewhat more masculine and tough, but i prefer the sparkly, fun and feminine aura other hairstyles bring him, especially before all this lawsuit crap.
Truthfully when i first saw this hairstyle, i didn’t really like it that much =P.
But of course, since Jaejoong is eternally, ethereally beautiful, everything on/near him will just end up looking beautiful as well. Even his epic static hair.

.
Here’s a question for anyone who has bothered to read my long rants:
Do you prefer Jaejoong with LIGHT hair or DARK hair?
(i personally prefer dark, but my friend likes him blonde. answer below :D)
.
[on a completely different note. i just heard Ripley’s OST - Glass by Hwayobi and wow O_O. i’ve always liked her from We Got Married, but as of now she is my favorite solo female singer](?)
I don’t know why and i don’t know if anyone cares, but i had this sudden whim to rant about something so introducing
Fuckyeahtvxqmacros’ TVXQ/DBSK Rant:
One of the first trivial things that had struck me when i discovered the Five Gods of the East was that, unlike most boybands out there, TVXQ/DBSK had never had any a lot of interactions with female counterparts in performances, MVs etc.
However, in recent performances, especially JYJ’s concerts, that fact has changed quite drastically. Even Jaejoong mentioned in the US tour press conference (?) that there will be an increase in female backup dancers in their concerts.

And this can be legit:
- Reason 1: To increase the amount of male audience to their concert
- Reason 2: The American leg of their tour is directed by Jeri Slaughter who would have his reason to think that a more sexual performance would appeal to the target audience
- Reason 3: To provide the boys with a sexier and more masculine image.

However, although i have nothing against the dancers themselves, I must point out that they may not bring the desired effect:
- Reason 1: Cassies will want to eat those females alive not like it very much
- Reason 2: OUR BOYS ARE AMAZINGLY SEXY AND PERFECT AS THEY ARE WITHOUT THE NEED OF RESPECTABLE DANCERS DRESSING AND BEHAVING LIKE SLUTTY WHORES AROUND THEM.
- Reason 3: Any arguments against reason 2 is irrelevant

Because seriously, in the end the majority of the people attending their concerts will be: -> female -> supporters of member x member OTPs -> dangerous, die-hard fan girls.
And i don’t know about other people but if i could go to those concerts, I’ll be there to hear the boys sing and see the boys being sexy.
I would not be there to frown over the choice of or lack of wardrobe for backup dancers, OR WHERE THE DAMN BACK UP DANCERS ARE PUTTING THEIR HANDS ON MY PRECIOUS BOYS.

But that’s just me and i guess in the end the back up dancers don’t matter that much. Agree/disagree/argue/comment/ignore at will ^^.
